Afonydd Cymru had the great pleasure of visiting Herbert Thompson Primary School in Cardiff last week.
The Year 4 students have been learning about rivers at school and chose Afonydd Cymru for a fundraising initiative.
It was fantastic to meet such a group of engaged and interested children, they have certainly learned a good deal about their local river Ely from their enthusiastic teachers! With many thanks to Gareth Edge, Education officer for South East Wales Rivers Trust, we had great fun teaching the children all about the animals in their river, including otters and mayflies and had a great game of spot the poo!
