On 9th June 2021 the Senedd decided to review the Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution)(Wales) Regulations 2021. On 25th November, board member Creighton Harvey appeared before the Senedd Economy, Trade and Rural Affairs Committee which had been appointed to carry out the review. He appeared along with Rachel Sharp of The Wildlife Trusts to give evidence on behalf of Wales Environment Link. The review is continuing.
We are also awaiting the result of the Judicial Review of the process of enacting the Regulations conducted by former High Court judge, Sir Wyn Williams, President of Welsh Tribunals. The Judicial Review was initiated by NFU Cymru.
